If a vocal is poorly recorded, it isn't ever going to sound like a clean Charlie XCX, Sia, or Halsey vocal. There are always solutions, but you do have to work within some constraints. When you get the breakthrough that makes it work, it feels great. There are not speedy solutions you really need to dig into your box of tools and ideas and find ways to get the most out of what you are given. These are both challenging and fulfilling to work on.
